Flowerstone: Fashion Reuse and Restyle |
Hi, I'm Bebe. If shopping at high end stores for unique yet pricey items leaves you with the feeling that you've sacrificed a little bit of your soul (and a lot of your wallet) ... this is where you'll get a little daily perspective on how to shop for, reuse and re-style old pieces of clothing that you probably would never look twice at. I'll give tips on how to shop in a vintage and thrift environment and ideas on how to restyle things in your closet that might be an inch from wardrobe retirement. All photos are of either me or my friends dressed in thrift, vintage, and/or reconstructed pieces mixed in with newly bought items--- Can you tell which items are "used"? ;) |

Earrings $1, Flea Market
For Summer, massive amounts of bright colors can be great and should be balanced out by some muted blacks, whites or grays. Oversize is also in, so don’t be afraid of very large pieces of clothing. I purchased this top at Goodwill in the +size section and it looked gigantic on the hanger, but paired with a loosely buckled belt, it balances out nicely.
